This really is a stunning violet wand made by the renound French company "Fluvita" and dates from around 1956

We have restored the case, giving it a heavy duty textured faux leather covering with new shiny chrome case clips. The interior is in a lovely cotton velvet with new electrode clips.

The control unit is removable and there are two main dials

1. Power - from a medium low to high
2. A six minute timer knob which cuts out the power at the end of the cycle - very useful if you loose track of time.

There is also a voltage selector switch - so it works in the UK/Europe(240v) and North America(120v).

Interestingly when applying the power to the user - you can use your free hand with startling effect - with sparks literally flying from you fingertips. The metal in the hand piece which you hold is a return path for the wand output - this can be very intense indeed - especially at high power !

Naturally we carried out a full electrical restoration of this unit - new cables, new capacitors, re insulated the internal wiring, cleaned it up and re tuned the unit to give optimal performance. We have fitted a UK plug but can fit anything within reason for our overseas customers - for free (US/Canadian/Australian/European/etc,etc/plugs for free)
