Stunning 16pc Helios with perspex control unit
This violet wand is sensational - a very large case lovingly restored and a turquise velvet interior with yellow brading to the edges. The case is covered in a hardwearing faux leather with new handle and case clips The control unit is the original 1960s unit with a see through perspex case. POWER is controlled by the large knob on the fascia and for the technically minded controls the contact breakers / trembler rather than a rheostat. This is typical for many of these large helios machines. Sensations are medium low to high - few people ever use these devices just on low. There is a metal plate in the wand handle which provides a return path for the wand output and if the user applys their free hand to the recipient, they can see sparks flying from their fingertips. The metal rod operates in the same way only the recipient is meant to hold this to increase the intensity of the wand output Naturally we replaced the capacitors and the cables (modern black pvc for lightness) with useful 2m lengths. A UK plug is fitted but we can fit anything you like (for free - within reason). Interestingly the capacitors are housed in three red metal cases and so are out of view. We have kept the original braided rayon cable for the return path as this is rarely used and simply adds to its beauty. |
